Email account platform upgrade
Scheduled Maintenance Report for HOA Express
Completed
The upgrade is now complete! Our customer success team is working to update all relevant help articles—particularly in regards to the new webmail interface.

As a reminder, by design, webmail settings (e.g. contacts, signatures, filters, auto-replies, etc.) were not migrated to the new webmail interface. These will need to be recreated. To assist with this, you can access the previous webmail interface, and all of its settings, at https://legacy-webmail.hoa.email.

Update
Based on the current pace of data transfer happening in the background we expect to make the switch to the upgraded email platform either overnight or tomorrow morning. Our current email account platform is still fully-functional and the ability to use existing email accounts to send/receive emails is not impacted in any way.

Scheduled
We’re upgrading our email account platform to be more reliable, modern, and robust! Along with these enhancements, we’ll be improving the way email accounts are limited.

Currently, we offer communities on the deluxe plan the ability to create an unlimited number of email accounts that share a storage limit of 10gb total across all accounts. After the upgrade, we’ll be limiting communities to a maximum of 25 email accounts that each have 8gb of storage space. We believe this new design will be much more useful to communities.

No downtime is expected for email accounts during the migration—you’ll be able to send and receive emails without any interruption. Further, all email messages will be migrated seamlessly.

It’s important to note, though, that webmail settings (e.g. contacts, signatures, filters, auto-replies, etc.) won’t migrate to the new webmail interface. You’ll need to recreate these settings after the migration is complete. To assist with this, you’ll be able to access the current webmail interface, and all of its settings, at https://legacy-webmail.hoa.email after the migration.

By the way, to prevent the possibility of discrepancies, we’ll be disabling the ability to create, modify, or delete email accounts from the Admin Control Panel during the migration process.
